Dr Alasdair K Watson BDS
GDC 53298
Alasdair qualified in dentistry from Edinburgh University in 1979. After working in a number of practices in Ayrshire and Renfrewshire he took over St Mirren Brae Dental Practice in 1982. At that time the single-handed practice had been in existence for over 60 years. Within 2 years two more dentists joined the practice. Soon after, he opened Ralston dental practice and subsequently built it up to what it is today.
He attributes the success of the practice to the loyal, enthusiastic, professional staff who have created a family, friendly atmosphere.
Alasdair is a past president of the Paisley branch of the British Dental Association and a former practice inspector. He is the longest serving member of the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Local dental committee.
Outwith dentistry Alasdair is the president and founder member of the Isle of Jura Rugby club. He also enjoys playing the trumpet in a jazz band.
